The TW Electronics Recycling (TWER) respects the privacy of its members. To protect that privacy, the TWER has implemented the following policy.

What Information Do We Collect?
Most information that the TWER collects is used only to help TWER better serve its members. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all users by notice in our newsletters or by e-mail or a special announcement placed on the TWER Web site.

Disclosures to Third Parties
The TWER does not disclose contact information of members who expressly direct the TWER to keep their contact information confidential. Members may request TWER to refrain from disclosing the data it collects to third parties on the TWER and/or affiliated recycling organization membership application form, on conference registration forms, or any other form on which they are providing information. The TWER and its affiliated recycling organizations will provide an opt-out box on any form on which a user provides information. Alternatively, members may contact the TWER at free@twrecycling.com or (310)804-4333 to express their preferences if they determine later that they do not wish to have their information shared.

Further, the TWER does not disclose member contact information to third parties except in circumstances where the third party is providing a service or benefit to the TWER and/or its members that has been authorized by the TWER. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing TWER's membership mailing list to trade publications with which the TWER has negotiated a special subscription discount for its members
• Listing member contact information in directories published by or for the TWER that may be sold to requestors
• Providing contact information of those who register for TWER conferences and workshops to sponsors, exhibitors and attendees of those events.
Under no circumstances does the TWER disclose the contact information of members from one affiliated recycling organization to any other affiliated recycling organization.
